South Wales Pottery,
Llanelli,
Carmarthenshire,
Wales
1877 - 1927
Formerly trading as Holland & Guest this company established a pottery in LLanelli, working in earthenwares to supply the South Wales Valleys and West Wales with their ordinary domestic dinner and teawares adopting popular Staffordshire patterns. An expanding coalfield and industrial base gave them a ready market for their largely undistinguished wares.
The only pottery in Wales to have produced the "Asiatic Pheasants" pattern. Closed in 1927
