Famous Nothumberland pottery working throughout the C19th producing domestic earthenwares for the North East England market and the Baltic trade. Variously styled & Co from 1850, & Son from 1854 and & Sons reflected the family nature of this business.
Produced many of the popular patterns of the day including "Asiatic Pheasants" probably in the later years of the firms existence.
